Getting Feedback from Your People
Staff attitude surveys are a powerful tool to help you understand how your people regard the organisation and to promote positive change.
Burton OD has a lot of experience in the field and can help you design, run and follow up your survey.
This is how a typical project goes:
Develop Survey
The senior management team agrees what it is trying to achieve with the survey and commits to supporting it with positive communications and follow-up.
The consultant works with appropriate members of the team to identify topics to be researched and what demographic groupings need to be used. This can involve a limited number of interviews or focus groups with employees across the business to identify their concerns.
An implementation plan geared to achieving the highest possible return rate is developed.
Implement the Survey
The survey will be distributed in paper and/or electronic formats and returns made directly to Burton OD to guarantee confidentiality.
Responses are entered and response rates checked to ensure that all parts of the business are taking part at acceptable levels.
Analyse Results
Results are analysed, using state of the art software. The consultant will analyse results across the business and look at trends over time.
Presentation and Reporting
Results will be presented back to the senior team, with a consultant commentary and conclusions. Reports will be provided for the organisation as a whole and for individual departments
The headline results will be communicated back to employees as early as possible.
Action Planning
Action planning will be facilitated at organisational and departmental levels as required.
