Investors in People - Management Capabality

The Investors in People Standard requires organisations to have a clear definition of what skills, knowledge and behaviours (“Management Capability”) are expected of its managers in terms of the way they should lead, manage and develop people. It also requires that people throughout the organisation understand how managers should lead, manage and develop them.

This download provides an example of a simple acronym which can help to address the requirement – you are free to adapt this to your own needs.

Investors in People - Learning and Development planning

The Investors in People Standard requires organisations to understand what learning and development needs to be carried out to achieve organisational objectives. It also expects that there should be a plan to meet them, indicating what resources will be used and how the success of this investment will be evaluated.

This download provides a template to help set out such a plan. It can be used at the organisation or departmental levels - you are free to adapt this to your own needs.
