David Burton is an organisation development consultant who works with managers to improve the effectiveness of their business. He has a brimming toolbox of consultancy approaches and quickly establishes trusting relationships with people at all organisational levels.

His career has included three key elements that inform his consultancy approach:

• He has been involved as an owner-manager in the start-up, growth and eventual sale of a successful company in the newspaper publishing and printing sector.
• As a mature student, he studied business to Honours Degree level and Organisation Development to Masters Degree level and therefore has a thorough academic grounding for his work. He won the Sheffield Business School Prize for his MSc Dissertation.
• With more than 20 years experience as a management consultant he has evolved his practice in line with an ever-increasing understanding of different organisations in different settings and sizes.

David is a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting and holds that organisation’s qualification as a Certified Management Consultant.
